Welcome message from the president of the congress

As President of the 10th World Congress on Conductive Education and the Dean of Semmelweis University’s András Pető Faculty, I am pleased to welcome the Reader on behalf of both the organisers of the World Congress and myself.
As the motto of the 10th, Jubilee Congress demonstrates, the motor of conductive education is the conductor.
Comprehensive development as organised and implemented by the conductor is only possible by connecting disciplines which separately, following their own path, assist daily the development, health and wellbeing of people living in societies. Jointly, through the conductor they make it possible even for those with afflicted course of development or acquired dysfunctions to become able to live a full life.

Dear Colleagues, Parents and Friends,
We are slowly approaching the date when the 10th World Congress on Conductive Education is organised. As announced in the last, 9th Congress, the András Pető College as the only applicant had won the right to host the next Congress.
In the following year (on 1 August 2017) the College became András Pető Faculty of Semmelweis University, Budapest, which presents further challenge to conductive education in terms of professional status and intellectual field.
Naturally, the change does not affect the organisation of the Congress, thus the András Pető Faculty, with strong contribution of the International Pető Association, will fulfil its commitment.
